Kerry, welcome! Your car is the kind I like, low optioned cars except for the go-fast goodies. Brakes aren't a problem, you can get what you need locally, carb isn't either, there are a few people here that can help you out, and the wiper switch should be attainable as well, list in the parts needed forum.
