Gday,

My Name is Brett, i live in Australia i am married and have a son (Kody 8 months old).I am a mechanic who works at a Ford dealership doing transmission diff and steering repairs(we do mechanical repair work for other ford dealers).

Anyway thats the boring bits out of the way

I have just fallen in love with my first oldsmobile

went to look at it as i havent ever seen a oldsmobile of this shape(friend of my family has a custom 54 olds i was keen on but on closer inspection the rust underneath was too much to deal with).
Didnt really have any intention of buying it but when dad, my brother and i saw it in the flesh i had to do a quick rethink. So i went home and discussed it with the minister for war(my boss at home).After some quick discussions i decided it was going to be mine.So now im the proud owner of a oldsmobile

Unfortunately we dont have alot a places to get spare parts for these here in Oz.
luckily i have a friend who is coming over to your side of the world to live for a few months who has a relative that imports American cars into Australia, so i can get stuff sent to his house and get them put into a shipping container bound for my side of the world.

im keen to know more about my car as well

so if anyone can tell me more info about it from the link ive posted that would be great

im really after what the engine size is and what year it is
