Rear seats in most new cars just pop in and out. Give it a tug upwards and see what happens. If it doesn't pop, shove it toward the back while tugging up.
Your Aurora uses a 100 series battery. It's got a vent tube harness that runs through the floorboard to vent to the outside. I recommend using a Delco replacement battery so that harness fits properly.
