Unfortunately, there are a number of adjustments that need to be done to the Slim Jim to get it to shif correctly. I have an Oldsmobile service manual for 1964 and it goes over those adjustments with illustrations (the illustrations are needed to make it clear). I am wondering if this is something Joe or I should post to the transmissions forum...  Oldsguy would be able to sticky it. We get questions about the Slim Jim at least once a month. |
