1966 starfire - $1500 - Atlanta, GA area
Just popped up on Craigslist in the last day or so:
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/2312490547.html
Exact text in the ad:
"1966 Olds Starfire, complete car but needs restoring. Long 442 bodystyle 2 door, auto, bucket seats, console shift w/tach on console. 425 engine.call 770-483-1435."
I called and talked to him. 99,500 miles. has not run in 25-30 years, no title at all, and the windshield had a tree branch go through it years ago, so it's open to the weather and has been for some time apparently.
He said it is straight, faded, and rusty, but not rotted, and all the exterior trim is there. Other than the front windshield, the glass is all intact.
Interior is all original with the factory buckets, console, tach, etc.
Factory 425 and auto trans are there and complete, but have not run in a loooong time.
It was burgundy with black interior.
He does have all the original sales stuff, including the owners manual with the protecto-plate and window sticker, bill of sale, etc. Said he bought it from the original owner.
That's about all the info I got from him on it. Not near me and too far gone for what I'm looking for, but someone here may have interest.
Doing what I can to help someone else since I can't do squat with it.

The rear quarter panel "kick-up", lower body "kick-under" and "dumb bell" grilles of the '65 and '66 fullsize cars are all features shared with the intermediate 66-67 cars. I'd say the Starfire and Jetstar I rear roof/window lines were more like the 442 hardtops than the other big cars as well.
The similarlity between the A and B body styles from these years may explain why I have one of each:
