1976 cutlass
I am new here. My name is Bob Deno. I have had my cutlass for 16 years and I love it. I need to start finding parts for it. Looking to rebulid the motor and trans and rear end. Looking for any ideas for adding power to it. It is a 350. And looking for inside parts.

Hey Bob, nice car.
Hey Brad, Keith, the moderator over at 73-77olds.com shut down registration in March because of dozens of spammers registering every day. I've posted about him opening up registration again, the place is dying without any new members. Sorry I can't help you with interior plastics. I recently sold off all my B/C/D list spares. The A listers are stored away.

I missed this thread when it was posted originally. Nice car Bob, still looking for parts?
Brad, welcome to CO! Nice '76 S. If you can, start a thread introducing yourself and your car to the CO members.
This thread hasn't seen much activity since 2011 and besides, it's Bob's.
As Texxas stated, 73-77 membership is closed at the moment, hopefully things will pick up over there and get the excitement going again.

Hopefully, the '73/77' site will open up for possibly - selective registration by referral? Ha!
FYI - Here's a pic of the '76 Cutlass S I now own today - it's the same color code as the '76 Cultass Supreme I had in high school in the early 80's. That lime green really stood out on the road.
Btw (Texxas), I really like that green 442 you have posted for your profile pic! AND 'bob1976' luv the pics of your '76 Cutlass Supreme! Both look so nice!
And the '76 Cultass had the Tempest beat hands down in ride and comfort (of course it was used for Nascar).

Thanks for the compliments on my 442. I've been driving both the 76 442 and my 67 Cutlass alot lately. The 76 handles better, rides better and is just more fun to drive than the 67. They both have #8 headed SBO 350s, same cam specs, same intake except for the EGR on the 76 and both run quadrajets. Turbo 350 transmissions in both 2.41 rear gear in the 76 and 2.78 in the 67. The headers on the 76 and the Thornton JR exhaust manifolds on the 67 are really the only drive train differences. I boxed the rear control arms and added a rear sway bar to the 67 and did the Jeep Grand Cherokee steering box swap, and front disc brakes attempting to make it handle more like the 76 and it helped but it still doesn't stand up to the 76. The 76 442 has a more "all of one", together feel. It does have all it's original drivetrain and the 67 has a transplanted 350/350 combo. I like them both but I guess there is a favorite.
