As C.J. said, your rocket is so different from the Chevrolet engine in so many ways, nothing interchanges, except maybe the air cleaner housing and carburetor, maybe. Check for rust under the vinyl top if you have one, and also for rust at the bottom of the back window in the hardtops and rust on the rear quarter panels. The electrical wiring in almost all GMs in the early seventies wasn't the best so look at the fuse block and if there is a blown fuse that may indicate a bad circuit or wire shorted to ground someplace. If you have the 350 engine/Turbo Hydramatic 350 transmission combo then you have a pretty dependable combination. Again, welcome to this site.
