hello everyone.
I'm new to the site and to the toronados yet I was able to find a 66 old toro in borderland , El Paso, TX.
I'm pretty much having problems with the fuel system. I just installed a 750cfm edelbrock carb, carter fuel pump and replace hoses and fuel line.
The gas tank was leaking alot and just had it sealed and cleaned.
The car was seating for 2 years.
Replaced wires and spark plugs, alternator and starter and battery.
Still it seems like when i turn the car the fuel pump wont pump any gas towards the carb, I tried the taking the hoses off to see if it will squirt. Nothing...
I pour in directly through the in tubing of the carb, fuel and it idles for about 10 sec then it dies.
Im worried it could be the eccentric in the shaft. How could I fix something like this or any ideas?
PS also headlights dont work....????
