The valve you showed in the link isn't even an Olds valve. It has hose fittings on both inlet and outlet. A correct Olds valve needs threads on one end to thread into the manifold.

The later model 307 valve will work fine, though it will not look like your original. It's a different design (mainly to lower manufacturing costs) but it is functionally interchangeable.
