I was just wondering if The rear end gears and axle sizes are identical between a 1980 delta88 royale 307 and a 1985 delta88 Royale 307.

Since they messed with heads in 85, and changed from th350s to 200 c s, I was wondering if they effed with the rear ends too.

I think I am going to dissect my 1980 Olds this winter and decide what to keep and what to scrap on it. I have an 80 and two 1985's 2 of which have 145000+ miles on them and the other with a cracked frame...Ugh....

I wish I could just go to the dealership and order another new one.
