i am trying to find a 400 ci engine for my old cutlass 442. i think i have one the guy says it is the original engine but the numbers are not seeming to add up. i do not know much about these cars so i am asking you guys for help. he says it is the original engine that is in his 1968 442 cutlass 400 ci. numbers are as follows. ENGINE NUMBERS:F BLOCK,CASTING #396021F, and head which i could not match with anything are HEAD # C,CASTING 394646. he is trying to charge me 1000.00 for core engine and trans but the numbers seemed to match a 455. if anyone can help can you email me at
