Two things to be aware of. First, while all 68-72 A-body cars can be potential sources, the problem is that different rear axles can use driveshafts that vary by up to an inch in length. This may not sound like much, but if everything comes out on the short side the yolk can fall out of the trans, or at least leak.

Second, the automatic driveshafts use two concentric tubes with rubber in between. The manual trans driveshafts are solid.
