My Cutlass Supreme came with what I call a standard (not sport wheel) color matched to the interior. I bought this car new, in 1972 from a dealer. It was not a used and/or modified with after market add on's, car.
I have also seen pictures of other people's 70-72 Cutlass's that have the same type steering wheel as is on my Cutlass, color matched to the interior. Not sport steering wheels.

You misunderstood, though I will admit my original response could have been worded more clearly. The question was about the OPTIONAL four spoke steering wheel . In 1970-1972, IF the car was equipped with the four spoke sport wheel, it was only available in black.
