These don't look like '68 to me. They look more like '71-'72, especially considering the part numbers. Part numbers are 9858554 and 9858555 which are very close to the casting numbers of 9858552 and 9858553. '68 to '70 98 front fender scripts are part numbers 230446 and 230447.
BTW, Fusick did carry the '68 to '70 98 front fender scripts. They were $48 a pair (for a "Ninety" and an "Eight) as of their January '03 catalog.
